PRODUCTION TEAM.

Our Sunday Morning experience cannot happen without our amazing production team! This team works hard behind-the-scenes to make sure our guests have a good experience so ultimately they can experience Jesus through a time of worship, teaching, and other elements of our service, without any unnecessary distractions.

Volunteer Positions:

Audio

The teammate in this position is responsible for the monitoring and adjustments of sound equipment used in our adult environment.  The audio engineer focuses attention and removes distractions by crafting a quality mix and making seamless audio transitions.


Video

The teammate in this position operates the equipment necessary to display all video that appears on screens within our services. Through our software, this teammate displays lyrics, Bible verses, videos and message notes.  Focus and attention to detail is of great value in this position.

Lighting

This teammate is responsible for managing and controlling the lighting that is necessary to making our Sunday Morning experience enjoyable. They follow certain cues and are aware of when to change the lighting based off of different elements of the service.

*** All volunteers that fill these positions will go through training to ensure they feel equipped and confident before serving on their own.

Time Commitment

  • We ask that you consider serving twice a month.

New Church Production Team Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 yrs. of age.

  • Must regularly attend weekend services at New Church.

  • Must live in a way that is “above reproach” (being held to a higher standard) both at church and away, so as to be an example of Christ to our church and those who are not here yet.

  • Must be prepared when you arrive to serve.  This may involve but is not necessarily limited to; arriving early or at least on time, knowing the set list well, and knowing the flow of the service from our online organization system (Planning Center Online).

  • Must be willing to serve with focus and excellence as part of a team.

  • If at any time you cannot meet these requirements, you will need to step back from serving on the Production Team until you can again meet the requirements.

Encouraged:

  • Giving by tithing regularly and sacrificially at New Church.  Since God commands it, we teach it and encourage it.  We don’t want this from you. We want this for you! 

  • Join and meet with a New Church Group.  Growing with others in your faith is important and encouraged.  You can find the list of Groups and available times on the New Church website NewChurchNC.org
