The Hope for the World campaign is an annual tradition at New Church providing congregants an opportunity to financially bless organizations in need. New Church is committed to expressing the love of Christ through generosity.
Six recipients are selected each year - one local, one domestic, and one global partner as well as three church plants.
This year’s target goal is $40,000.

2026 Hope for the World Recipients
Inspiring Hope (Local)
Your donations will help increase the success of students and help them become all they can be through a Christ-centered holistic program which includes: tutoring, mentoring, discipling, introducing the students to new ideas and possibilities, building relationships with them, their families, and their school, and helping them discover and live out God’s plan for their lives.
St. Vincent Mission (Domestic)
St. Vincent Mission is a community of people in Appalachia dedicated to sharing the expression of Christian Values. They believe that all persons have a God-ordained right to the basic needs of life in order to meet their full potential. This is accomplished through concrete programs that encourage discovery, development and use of our personal gifts.
The Daltons (Global)
Since 2016, The Daltons have been serving in Italy with a heart to see lives transformed through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Recently God has led them to Urbino, a beautiful university city in central Italy, where they are building relationships with students and creating opportunities to share the hope of Jesus.
Through Il Soggiorno (The Living Room), a café and ministry center, they hope to provide a welcoming space where students can find community, build meaningful relationships, and encounter the love of Christ.
Church Plants
Building on a history of generosity of other churches, that helped get New Church to where we are today, we want to do the same for others.
In a predominantly lost city like Winston-Salem, when one church grows we all grow.
We are honored to help continue the legacy of generosity by supporting local churches: Church at the Threshing Floor, Christ the King, and For the City.
