  • I am originally from Georgia. I went to college at Emory & Henry University in Virginia where I met my wife Jamie in 2011. We were both brought together through playing sports in college and married in 2017. We moved to Winston-Salem right after college and have planted roots here in North Carolina where we have a 5-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son. I am passionate about helping young men develop their faith and apply that to being a better father, husband, son, and friend. It would be my pleasure to be considered to be your Wingman through The Journey.

  • I was born and reared in Virginia. My wife, Avis, and I were married in 1973, and together we have three adult children and five grandchildren. I believe God has placed in my heart the desire to invest in other men by helping them to be better husbands, fathers, and friends based on the word of God. If you desire to grow and learn how to be the best man you can be, I invite you to join our group. It would be an honor to be your Wingman through The Journey.

  • I grew up in a Catholic family and always felt like I had to work hard to provide for my family, so I became a bit of a workaholic. When my marriage fell apart unexpectedly, it was really tough for me. But then I met my wife, Kim, and joined her family, along with Emerson and Alex. Together, we started exploring where we truly belonged. I started going to church with Kim with an open heart, and we had some deep talks about science and religion, which really opened my eyes. Eventually, I realized that Jesus is real and that the Bible is His word. One morning, it finally clicked for me: all I needed to do was believe in Jesus and give my life to Him. That moment changed everything for me! I am saved by believing in Jesus Christ, who forgives my sins and gives me eternal life through His grace and love.

  • I am Hispanic born in Cuba. I am 65 years old and have a son aged 35. Divorced and remarried with three adult children on my wife's side, one deceased. Still consider myself an infant in my journey with Christ and it would be privilege to help each other in the journey.

I am fortunate to have had a long life with experiences I can share with other men to assist them in their journeys.

  • I’m originally from Fayetteville, NC, and have lived in Winston-Salem since 2005. I’ve been blessed to be married to my beautiful wife for nine years, and we have two amazing children, ages six and three. My journey through manhood and fatherhood has been shaped by trial and error, and through the grace of God, I’m still here—grateful for the lessons and eager to share my story. My mission is to help build and inspire the next generation of Godly men.

  • I have been married to Brenda for 11 years and we are a blended family with four wonderful kids ranging from 26 to 30.  I was in the military and used the Army College fund to finish my degree and help fund my flying lessons.  I have flown commercially for 36 years and for me, there is truly no place like home. I feel God has led me (through the BetterMan program) to use my time and experiences to walk with other men in life as their wingman.  I feel it is important for men today to have a support system to develop trusted brothers in Christ who can disciple each other and create other disciples in the process. If you want to become the man you want to help other men want to be, join our group and I will be committed as your wingman to walk with you in The Journey.
