The Core Values

Worship Wholeheartedly

Because of who God is and what he's done through Jesus, we show our gratitude by worshiping him through every area of our lives!

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. (Romans 12:1)

Commit Courageously

Because we desire to honor God with our lives, we display our devotion by boldly committing everything we do to him as a step of faith!

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.  Commit everything you do to the Lord.  Trust him, and he will help you. (Psalm 37:4,5)

Love Loudly

Because Jesus demonstrated sacrificial love for others, we follow his example by loving people in ways that direct their attention to God!

Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children.  Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God. (Ephesians 5:1-2)

Give Generously

Because everything we have comes from God, we desire to bring him glory by openhandedly giving our finances, abilities, and time to further the gospel of Jesus Christ!

But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand. (1 Chronicles 29:14)

The Beliefs

The Scriptures

We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Holy Spirit to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, the Bible is without error. (Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

God

We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to man and to become the Savior of the lost. (Genesis 1:26; Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; John 1:1, 14; Philippians 2:5-8; 1 Timothy 2:5, 3:16)

Mankind

We believe that man was created in the image of God to have a relationship with Him, but became alienated from that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man is totally incapable of coming back into a right relationship with God by his own effort. (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21)

Salvation

We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sins. Therefore, salvation only occurs when a person repents of their sins and places their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as the sufficient payment for their sin. (Act 3:19, 16:31; Romans 5:9, 10:9-10; Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 1:7, 2:8-9, 13; Titus 3:5-7; 1 Peter 1:18-21; 1 John 1:7; Revelation 1:5)
